Let’s talk about your occasion
You don’t need a large occasion to ask for a helping hand. Choose one task, a few finishing touches, or help carrying the whole gathering through.
We’ll agree on the work, fee, purchases, and any additional help before beginning.

You’d love to use the family silver, heirloom linens, and favorite china—but getting everything out, polished, pressed, and arranged can feel like a project in itself. Let us take care of the preparation and setting, so you can enjoy the things you treasure and the company around your table.
A few treasured pieces or a complete table—we’ll talk through what you’d like to use and the care it needs.
Ask about preparing your table ↗︎Valerie’s background includes professional catering training and years of welcoming guests. Cooking can be included for private dinners and gatherings, bringing the menu, flowers and table together as one thoughtful occasion.
Discuss the food you enjoy, your guests and dietary needs, and how much help you would like. Menu planning, cooking and agreed serving or cleanup support are tailored to the gathering, with responsibilities and any additional help set out in the proposal.
Discuss food for your gathering ↗︎Share your date, who is coming and the preparation you would like to hand over. You do not need a finished menu or design.
Choose the tasks: planning, shopping, cooking, flowers, table setup or coordination. Scope, purchases, rentals, serving, cleanup and any helpers are agreed before work begins.
We carry through the agreed preparation, with thoughtful details shaped around your home, taste and guests.
Learn to make a dish you love, bring a dinner menu together, or feel more at ease cooking for company. We offer personal cooking lessons and relaxed classes for small groups in the host’s kitchen.
Choose a private lesson, a gathering with friends, or a girls’ night around the kitchen counter. The lesson is shaped around your interests, experience and the kitchen, with demonstration or hands-on participation agreed together.
Discuss the menu, number of guests, ingredients, equipment, timing and cleanup before booking. Your proposal sets out the lesson and complete fee, with food costs clearly identified.
